No care facility as loss of mobility etc means moving to a different environment.

General Comment. I've been a resident for 17 years and am very glad I chose to buy here. All staff all too willing to help us out - keep on cossitting us - spoilt we all are.

I have no complaints about this village and felt completely at home from the day I moved in. After 8 years of struggling to keep my property - an unfinished house on a very steep section, with 52 steps to the front door, and no car access - I finally took the plunge and moved to the Falls Estate. My life now has new purpose due to the activities, friendship etc. My folk singing and guitar accompaniment has blossomed and I have made a special friend with whom I share a love of classical concert

Cons

Loss of outdoor activity arenas - petanque pitch - mini-golf course - pitch & putt area - croquet "lawn" Restaurant only open two evenings a week and food too expensive (outside caterer subsidizing their restaurant?) Lack of lounge - with easy chairs and TV facility

Suggestions to Management or General Comment

In order for the Village to thrive Management needs to ensure some units are sold to younger (60 - 70 year old) and more able people. The 80+ currently coming in are, generally speaking, not interested to taking part or organizing activities. Prospective purchasers on their own with dementia and other severe medical problems should be discouraged - existing residents are being "expected" to look out for these people.

Cons

Because I live in a 3 bedroom lease I have space! But I'd feel differently if I were crammed into a CAD unit where every square centimeter is allocated.

Most management deserve plaudits for the consideration they give to their residents! We can be a 'prickly' lot to deal with! So thanks for the job you do.

The dace we still have no "care facilities" provided yet. This should be provided now, IMPORTANT.
