"Enjoying Retired Life"

Pros

I love the friendliness of our village. Its size means we are more like an extended family. Everyone knows everyone else and we all look out for each other. Our caretaker is a treasure and always goes the extra mile to help us. Worries about maintenance are a thing of the past. We have a good social life and can be as busy, or not, as we choose. I can walk to town.

Cons

Our village is for independent living only. Once we become infirm we need to move into a place with all the care facilities.

Our Manager is doing a good job, listens to our problems and does her utmost to fix them where possible.

Cons

No on-going care facility, will need to move when I can no longer live independently.
