No matron, [I feel like there is] no support from [some staff] (eds.) and that there is no one interested in residents who need someone!

Someone on call if needed - have not had to test this yet.

Cons

No rebates on power or rates refund. Carpet still stained even after wash. [I feel like sometimes] (eds.) owners know it all and won't give if its going to cost them.

[I suggest] they do villa inspection before letting. I had a stained carpet from previous dog, oven covered in fat and dishwasher not clean.

"No regrets"

Pros

It is nearly 3 years since we moved into a villa at Springlands Lifestyle Village and we are sooo pleased we did. We have made many new friends and the staff and management are v caring and always ready to help solve a problem if one arises. really enjoy the social hours every Friday and BBQ once a month. It is sooo handy to the supermarkets and only a few minutes by car to the Blenheim CBC and 5 minutes by car to Wairau Hospital. We would not hesitate to recommend this retirement village.

Cons

Dangerous exit due to parked cars blocking view of oncoming traffic (often too fast on 50kph stretch) on Battys Rd. Other exits ARE available.
