Great independent Stand-a-lone modern new villas. Good country views. A welcoming and sharing community. New developments shared with residents. Residents committee organize outings and activities that can be enjoyed and shared together. Secure environment with medical & call with smoke alarms throughout; A fortnightly What's up news bulletin. Landscape gardens and their maintenance well attended. Good relations with the management and owners of Longridge Country Estate. A lovely environment.

Cons

There is a stage construction in new villas and facilities being ready when hoped for, which means some delays in landscaping and completion of the future Recreation and Care Centre planned for.

There is excellent communication with a Residents Committee and Owners/ Management, together with individual residents with the Village manageress.

One of the nicest Villages in the Waikato and will have amazing facilities, incl care facilities, when it's finished. Villas are high-quality and spacious, available in different sizes/price points. Purchase is via industry typical ORA. Rules are more accommodating than many of the bigger corporate places. Staff are super friendly and when I was there they were having a happy hour and the residents spoke about the Village in glowing terms. =)

Cons

Only about 20 of the Villas are built, and the big Residents Facility and Care Facility are still a way off but they DO have a very nice temporary Residents Facility already. Prices are rising, in line with the market.
