Cons

Gardeners recently laid off. Lack of maintenance, houses and club house. Manager rude and lack of respect at at times a bully to residents. promised broken that were given when we signed up. No serviced apartments and rest home that we were promised.

Suggestions to Management or General Comment

Get a new manager who respects residents. We are locked in and can't move because of funding. She has no empathy. Get a manager who is here full time - not 10.30 - 3.30pm. We are disappointed, no caring, no love.

Being misled 7 years ago when staff promised a future care facility (hospital and rest home) to be completed within 2 years.

Suggestions to Management or General Comment

Commence care facility construction ASAP. We enjoy our village and have no intention to move. However moving from Auckland's North Shore to Bay of Plenty was NOT the best move we have ever made. The region's air quality aggravated [my wife's] sinus issue and our GP advised it is the worst in the country for that.

No on site care eg. nurse. Gate closed at night if 111 call is made.

On site Care Facility as promoted in 12012 hasn't been built. A Boutique Facility now being suggested.

Now that my husband has passed away, I feel lonely and the lounge/dining etc area too big.
