Speldhurst Country Estate Lifestyle and Retirement Village in Horowhenua is well underway at Speldhurst Country Estate which is situated in the old Kimberley Hospital grounds where the landscape has been well utilised to enhance this new lifestyle/retirement village.

Cons

Lack of footpaths around the village. Can't get out and about on a walker.Lack of off street parking for visitors.

Be more considerate towards us and listen to us regarding very bad workmanship on these new homes we're trying to live on. Management don't seem to care. Have some compassion!

Cons

Currently an active building site. Have experienced 7am starts from builders even during winter months. Noise early in the morning. Poor quality road surfaces.

Rules for some but all treated the same .Grounds not upkept to the best around the whole village only on main rds not the back streets .Speed of vechiiles not ahered to .

We are warm and comfortable. We can have a dog.

Cons

[We feel] (eds.) they are dictorial over gardening (I do my own) but I have to have a row of buxus in front of our units which [in my opinion] are incorrectly planted and not maintained (regular pruning ignored).

We have been here for two years. Were told that care facilities were imminent. We would not have come here under those circumstances. This has caused us great disappointment.
