Free to do what we want when we want, not tied to anything specific - aka no time frames for nurses coming and going etc. Good social atmosphere, good neighbours. Good maintenance on the building, gardening etc.

Cons

Can't really think of any - though am sure there are some negatives. But then again, I have problems with a particular cat that lives in the main building. He is viscious, comes into our villa to eat our cat food, pees on the kitchen bench and scratches the settee - I know it's not my cat as it is during the night and mycat is on the bed, asleep! I have made a number of complaints but still not got anywhere. He is popular in the Rest Home section. Not a major problem I suppose overall

Not really, though at a village meeting a few months ago I did offer a few brick bats and bouquets, all of which have been sorted

Pros

We have continued making good friends with new comers and of course those we had already made. Everyone is friendly and happy to give a helping hand where needed. We have recently added a new activity to our Community Centre - a pool table (yet to be set up though) which many of us are looking forward to using, it also has another table top for table tennis. Pleased to say that Oceania paid for it. Our Activities manager and jack of all trades (so to speak) is an absolute wonder.

Cons

There is the odd "fly in the ointment" but that is to be expected where ever you are. Some requests can be slow to action, but that about sums it all up

Sometimes I feel the management don't always "listen" to queries, specially Head Office - they re remote and it comes across quite strongly in correspondence

Cons

Only one activity for 14 months after I came. A new community room has been built so I have hopes for more.

For management: Ask for what improvements could be made when building new villas as residents. At moment nobody listens.
