It’s a lovely village to live in. The residents make it a special place to live. The staff do their best....Read more

Pros

It’s a lovely village to live in. The residents make it a special place to live. The staff do their best.

Cons

Not enough visitor car parks. Repairs take too long to get completed. Berns wait 3 weeks to fix my back door. I still can’t unlock it. Not enough care unit staff, maintenance people or gardeners.

No maintenance required by me; I can be as social - or not - as I want within the village

Cons

Summerset doesn't seem to value its asset in regards to maintenance as I would were I responsible. Or possibly there are too many layers to be worked through to get the OK to carry out the maintenance

The residents. Mostly safe and secure from outside invasions/ burglaries and theft. Good staff in the areas that concern us.

Cons

The budget quality of the building and interior considering we pay top end prices for our villa. From day 1 many things constantly require repair. 2 windows not fitted correctly and create drafts during winter.

Cons

Not enough car parks around the village. Fees keep rising every year. Cafés totally inadequate. Wouldn’t take visitors there. No security people around at night.
