The villas are very well designed and the gardens are nicely set out giving the village a nice atmosphere....Read more

The villas are very well designed and the gardens are nicely set out giving the village a nice atmosphere.

Cons

The foot paths on some units have a steep Kreb to step up onto the foot path which is difficult to negotiate for older people especially ones with walkers.

The staff are very professional and keep the residents well informed to what is happening in the village and address any problems promptly.

Cons

independent living not for every one. Too many people rely on the village management to provide them with activities that they themselves should be organising.

Lovely location, newish complex, good sized rooms

Cons

Poor management with several changes in the 5 years our family member was at St-Kilda Constant care staff coming & going. BUPA NZ do nothing to address complaints. Main focus is a money making enterprise . Shocking experience with St-Kilda when our family member passed away, did not get a phone call, email or god forbid flowers to express their respect in our loss from a resident who had been in their care for 5 years. Would not recommend putting anyone you love under the care of BUPA

No point as BUPA NZ does nothing nor care. They just just make excuses to satisfy themselves. They are all about the money NOT care
