The residents were adorable, My family member made alot of friends This is my only positive experience,,

Cons

My family member was neglected by staff, rotting blood bandages We were told they were going into hospice! Healthline called ambulance, even the ambulance driver agreed with me that the injuries were from neglect. My family member died two weeks later, I am not making this for revenge or to hurt anyone.. but I want our loved ones to be looked after in the last years of their life. My family member deserved to be cared for. I can only type so much on here. So much bad things to add.. not happy

Slow response to requests and usually not resolved.

More street lighting for security (thieves have been seen at night) and for walking to activities in the village centre. Gates required. More water for the gardens.

Security, home and garden maintenance, companionship

Cons

Because of older concentration fewer active people to help run the village, originally Kapiti village was 55and over now 70+! There is no immediate care if there was a medical or accident event should happen

Be aware how the age change has been detrimental. Village is more less active and vibrant
