One bedroom apartment. snug, comfortable, opens onto friendly hallway. Music.Piano. Restful.

Cons

Toilet water flush -one flush only. Cheap - one coat of paint on outside. railing and veranda. Flashing on top of window not sitting out correctly. stucco clad poorly done. Water comes down fro top apartments.

Suggestions to Management or General Comment

Tables with chairs on walkway- cafe open all year round. Umbrellas if need be up all year round. Social area for many on walks , can stop, rest,chat. Enclosed awning drop could work well.

"Transition during lockdown "

Pros

During lockdown my mother was in hospital and diagnosed with early dementia so consequently could not return to her apartment The staff packed bags for her when she came home to live with me before transitioning to a 24 hour care facility They put me on speaker phone and I described what things my mum would need and some treasured items which allowed her happiness and a sense of well-being. Stepping beyond the call of duty they cared for my mothers pet budgie Which I am very grateful at

Age of entry raised from 55 to 65. Having to pay village fee for 6 months after vacating your apartment.

Totally independent living no nurse or care on hand.

Suggestions to Management or General Comment

Better staff ratio particularly at late afternoon, night and on weekends, especially for those whose needs have now changed over time. Apartments are sold to residents in need of support. No proper support/care on hand.
