"Home"

Pros

The atmosphere is friendly and positive. Staff know residents names. It’s inclusive whereby people living in RH, HLC or Apt all mix together for every day activities and social gatherings. It has the most comprehensive activity calendar in the district! The people that work there truly love their job and it shows in their interactions with residents and Whanau. They have resident advocates so residents can go to their peers with problems if they don’t feel able to manage them on their own.

Cons

Not as much activity on the weekend as we would like

The food is lovely with care put into its preparation and presentation.

Cons

The staff levels could be increased to allow time to complete duties without stress on staff.
